Acceptable use
Use VanishBox for legitimate short-term signups, testing and reducing unwanted email. Follow each destination website's rules. Disposable addresses are not accepted everywhere.
Prohibited activity
- Phishing, fraud, impersonation, credential theft or malware.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, automated mass account creation, ban evasion or abuse of promotions.
- Automated forum/profile spam or links created to manipulate search rankings.
- Attempting to read another person's inbox, steal access keys, exhaust service resources or bypass limits.
- Illegal activity or use that violates our hosting/email providers' rules.
Account safety
Do not use a temporary address for banking, healthcare, work accounts, important purchases, long-term profiles or account recovery. Addresses expire and cannot be issued again. Losing the access key can mean losing access permanently. The service does not guarantee that a destination site will accept the address or deliver a verification email.
Service limits
The beta has limits on requests, address creation, mailbox lifetime, message size and stored messages. Limits may reject new requests during high load. External email sending and attachment downloads are currently disabled. Abuse can lead to rate limits or suspension of service.
Report suspected abuse through the report form. Reports are stored privately for operator review; emergency or time-critical assistance is not guaranteed.
